What this site collects
If you use one of the email forms on this site (the newsletter signup, or a product waitlist), it collects the first name and email address you enter. That's used only to send you the updates you signed up for: new journal posts, new printables, or news about the Starter Kit and 12-Week Plan. It isn't sold, rented, or shared with anyone else.
What runs in your browser
This site stores a few small values in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme choice, whether you've dismissed the announcement banner, and, if you arrived via a marketing link, which campaign brought you here (so a signup further into the site still credits the right source). None of this is a tracking cookie shared with anyone else, and none of it leaves your browser unless you submit a form.
No analytics are active on this site by default. If that changes, this section will be updated first, and it will name exactly what's added.
Round X-Ray tool
The numbers you enter into Round X-Ray are processed entirely in your browser. They aren't sent to a server, logged, or stored anywhere, including by this site.
My rounds and saved history
If you tap "Save this round" after running Round X-Ray, that round's numbers (score, par, fairway/GIR/putting/up-and-down figures, the strokes-lost breakdown, and your miss tally if you filled one in) are saved to your browser's local storage under the key theturn-rounds, so the My rounds page can show them back to you and chart them over time. This never leaves your browser, there's no account behind it, and it doesn't sync between devices. You can remove a single round or clear all of them from the My rounds page itself.
Your choices
You can clear any of the local storage values above at any time through your browser's settings (or, for saved rounds, from the My rounds page directly), or ask to have your email address removed by writing to the address below. Every email includes an unsubscribe option.
Children's privacy
This site isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top of this page will change and, for anyone already on the email list, the change will be mentioned in the next email.
